QUE BROTE LA SEMILLA A. C. / HORMIGUERO AUDIOVISUAL
ITINERANTE surge en el año 2012 por necesidad de compartir e intercambiar experiencias audiovisuales en comunidades del Estado de Colima donde nunca o pocas veces se había llevado cine en el espacio público. De manera gratuita y con el apoyo de instituciones y empresas locales hemos podido exhibir más de 50 películas de ficción y documental, vide-clips y cortometrajes.
Siendo el único Festival de Cine en Colima de carácter NO competitivo propicia el encuentro e intercambio de ideas entre los principales productores audiovisuales independientes y universitarios. Una de las prioridades de este Festival es el de exhibir las producciones locales recientes y en medida de lo posible llevarlas al público correspondiente. Junto con Hormiguero Audiovisual, Itinerante es una iniciativa de la Asociación Civil Que Brote la Semilla.
Cada año generamos mesas de discusión y exhibición de proyectos locales enfocándonos en uno de los tantos aspectos y oficios que la producción cinematográfica implica. Hemos tenido charla entre actores, músicos, directores y directoras de cine y video. Desde hace tres años abrimos un espacio de exhibición y encuentro de proyectos estudiantiles producidos por la Universidad de Colima (Facultad de Letras y Comunicación principalmente) y la Universidad Vizcaya de las Américas (estudiantes de Comunicación).
Cada año hacemos lo posible por visitar poblaciones y cabeceras municipales de los diez municipios que integran el Estado de Colima. En la capital siempre hemos tenido el respaldo del Museo Regional de Historia de Colima ya que es en su Sala de Cine donde ofrecemos las proyecciones para públicos específicos.
ITINERANTE tiene vida gracias al apoyo de empresas y artistas locales que facilitan los insumos y recursos necesarios para la ejecución de toda nuestra programación. Desde nuestros inicios el músico Kamal González y su Taller de Son Jarocho han alegrado las inauguraciones y clausuras, la Panadería Decena ofrece sus productos en las comunidades acompañados del café comalteco Tezcalama. La Cervecería de Colima incondicionalmente ha ofrecido su producción artesanal para deleitarnos cada año.
Así mismo, ITINERANTE no hubiera sido posible sin el apoyo de cada una de las Direcciones de Cultura en cada Municipio que nos ha apoyado con un espacio, difusión y equipo técnico para las exhibiciones. A lo largo de los años nuestra relación con el público ha sido mediada y facilitada por personas interesadas en colaborar con nosotros y ver en la exhibición de cine una forma de intercambio de realidades.
ITINERANTE: MUESTRA DE CINE COMUNITARIO EN COLIMA
ITINERANTE arises in 2012 due to the need to share and exchange audiovisual experiences in communities of the State of Colima, where never before had cinema taken place in the public space. Free of charge and with the support of local institutions and companies we have been able to exhibit more than 50 fiction and documentary films, videoclips and short films.
Being the only Film Festival in Colima of a non-competitive nature, it promotes the meeting and exchange of ideas between the main independent audiovisual and university producers. One of the priorities of this Festival is to show recent local productions and as far as possible take them to the corresponding public. Along with Hormiguero Audiovisual, Itinerante is an initiative of the Civil Association That Sprout the Seed.
Each year we generate discussion tables and exhibition of local projects focusing on one of the many aspects and trades that film production implies. We have had a conversation between actors, musicians, directors and film and video directors. For the past three years we have opened an exhibition and meeting space for student projects produced by the University of Colima (Faculty of Letters and Communication mainly) and the Vizcaya University of the Americas (Communication students).
Every year we do our best to visit towns and municipal seats of the ten municipalities that make up the State of Colima. In the capital we have always had the support of the Regional Museum of History of Colima since it is in its Cinema Room where we offer screenings for specific audiences.
ITINERANTE is alive thanks to the support of local companies and artists that provide the necessary inputs and resources for the execution of all our programming. Since our beginnings, the musician Kamal González and his Taller de Son Jarocho have been happy for the inaugurations and closings, the Ten Bakery offers its products in the communities accompanied by the Tezcalama coffee. La Cervecería de Colima has unconditionally offered its handmade production to delight us every year.
Likewise, ITINERANTE would not have been possible without the support of each of the Culture Directorates in each Municipality that has supported us with a space, diffusion and technical equipment for the exhibitions. Over the years, our relationship with the public has been mediated and facilitated by people interested in collaborating with us and seeing in the cinema exhibition a way of sharing realities.
